Sending people to Erowid when Erowid has the info they need is almost always a good idea; there's a lot of bad info on the internet, but it's widely accepted that Erowid is an accurate source. However, when someone asks a specific question, even if it's on Erowid, it's nicer to give them the link AND the answer. So, for the example above, something like:
