I really don't see how you can just jump from a petty theif to a serious crime like murder. Sure, they are both crime. But that is where they shoot off in completely different directions. All those things you "compared" are crimes, yes, but there are different classes of crimes. Like stated earlier, the punishment fits the crime. that's about all the proof you should need for stomping out these crazy ideas and comparisons your making.
