You can use a lighter, or if you want to be really fancy you can use a match from inside to get the whole all-in-one thing going...

The more time and effort you put into it, the longer it will last. It looks completely innocent (aside from the bowl) and fits into almost any pocket.

NOTE: If you choose to store matches in it, make sure the sulfur heads are facing away from the side with the bowl because when you go to light it, the matches inside will catch and destroy your bud... and eyebrows...
