DXM advice

So I want to try DXM for the first time. I've been reading up on it a lot so I know what to expect and how much to take but since I'm a very cautious person I'm here to double check.

I bought a bottle of Robitussin Honey Cough. The only active ingredient is Dextromethorphan HBr, USP 10 mg.

The whole bottle will be 236 mg of DXM and i think that's a good amount to start. I've been told 300 but I'd rather do a little less.

I think I'm good to go but can anyone else tell me something I don't know?

Take 2 bottles of that. Hell im taking 1200 mg as we speak and then I am heading out to a party. Although I am a pretty experienced dexer. I also reccomend toking up a bowl of weed once the dxm efects start kicking in. You will seriously get stoned as shit.

well i think it should be enough for the first time the only time i have ever done DXM was about 270mg's but i made the mistake of taking XTC only 30 mins after i took the DXM so i thought it wasnt doing anything. well all in all it was a pretty bad night cause i was totally freaking out all night

270mg is about perfect for a first time, but dont expect anything spectacular like hallucinations, but you should have a good time. Taking large amounts the first time is asking for trouble, you have no idea what so ever how your going to react to it. It also depends on your weight as well, but dosage makes a big difference.
For example, the first time My girlfriend took it, she took about 275mg, she said it was the best trip she ever had, I mean we had an awesome time, great trip... BUT the 2nd time she did it, she went up to about 375mg... THIS time it was too much, a couple hours into the trip, she was so fuXXed up, she thought she was going to die... I was trippin balls on like a 700mg myself, so I didnt know what to do, but she made it through, after puking most of it up, but I really thought I was going to have to take her to the hospital.
Shes a small petite person though, so Im sure that played a factor.
Basically my best advice is to start out slow, its a fairly safe drug when used cautiously, but I wouldnt take a big gamble just because of that. And if you do go big, make sure you have a trip sitter, u just never know. And on a last note, I read the post above where the guy went out after taking a mega dose, Im sure he is a veteran DXMer, because usually anyone who goes over the 3rd plateau, should in no means go out or be in public, and POSITIVELY do not drive.

So I took the DMX I said I would about 2 hours ago and honestly I feel virtually nothing. It occured to me after I took it that I had eaten a small dinner only about 30 minutes beforehand so I feel as if the DMX is taking a really long time to take effect or maybe it was diluted with the food or something and nothing will happen.

I don't feel euphoric or floaty or anything I just feel sort of relaxed but it's nothing too great.

Can someone tell me what's up?

Also I'm big: 6'1'' 190lbs perhaps only 230 mgs wasn't enough ever for the 1st plato? Honestly I have no clue?

Take more. 600 mg. Trust me.

smoking weed with dxm might ruin the experience with u cause ive tryed it with weed a cuple times and i thot it sucked like that but i love dxm otherwhyes... for ur 1st trip take like 600-750mg, maybe less i did like 300mg my 1st time and it was intense

memories you have to up the dose, ur a bigger person... at about your weight, to get a real trip and feel something take about or at least 375mg
If you dont feel ANYTHING with that dose, then ur DXM immune! lol

the first time i tried it i took 700 mg and it was great. the only problem was the nausea. my advice is just go all out with it. take like 700-750 mg
