Don't know if this will help, but go to synthtikal.com click on the flower in the lower right hand corner, it will take you to the rhodium archive. Tons of info on pcp chemistry, and many other drugs.

PCP chemistry project I am currently doing a project in chemistry on pcp, i have come across lots of information on it already and I know that it is a non-competitive NMDA receptor antagonist. Tje problem is i have to "Explain how the reactive sites aid the chemical in its designated role" and also "Explain, including reactions, how the chemical works." I am completely at a loss trying to figure out how PCP binds to this NMDA receptor. If anyone here has a greater knowledge of chemistry than I, please help a Rating: 5
