Gen Reviewed by Gen on 01-13-2006. Autoflower ? I just want to know how you keep a mother alive if they autoflower ? I tried 18/6 light and they go into flowering. 24/7 and they still flower on me. These new strains are hard to keep in veg for more than 2 or 3 clonings. I have tried northern lights and pappya. It's good for sexing Just can't keep them in veg. Clones take a little longer to take and veg too. If I clone to replace the mother, the clones keep flowering and don't go back to veg. I got a clone to start roots off of monster bitch. Rating: 5

Ummmm, is Northern Lights an autoflower? I might be mistaken, but I didn't think so. Any insight?

They might not be but mine seem to autoflower at about 12 to 16 inches tall.

Do you change the lighting time or the nutes? Or do they just do it on their own?

They just do it on their own. The only thing is they are in a Phototron, which is just floruo's. I have grown many a bag seed in there and not seen autoflower. Maybe I'm just lucky, it sure make it easy to clone. I backed off on the nutes and my papaya is going wild. I will get many more clones off of it. The northern is gone except for one clone that has rootted.
