Sales arent what we expected!
Hello People
For the past 3 years my collegue & and I have owned & operated a profitable adult-oriented T-shirt business called The Chronic Shop www.TheChronicShop.com that has done well however after investing much time & money into our website and persuing web marketing our WEB sales haven't been what we expected.
What I am asking is for anyone who has a minute or two to visit/review the site at www.TheChronicShop.com and submit feedback to this thread. Honest opinions are needed.
In return I would be glad to review yours or other sites and give feedback, OR how about a FREE Chronic T-Shirt...
Questions I'm trying to answer include:
- Overall experience?
- Navigation?
- What turned you OFF or what you did'nt like?
- What did you LIKE or DisLike?
- Just your overall thoughts in general?
Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.ChronicTops Reviewed by ChronicTops on . Sales arent what we expected! It's a bit slow, when i first opened it i immediately thought: oh no yet again some cannabis site selling parapharnalia.
You need a hook, a gimmick that will leave some remnants in the mind of the stoner.
Put some colour in it

The product is good, but the site is very bland. I would suggest a more visually compelling site design, you can do these yourself if you get the right program or go with the right domain host. Try putting a few cool, funny, pretty items on the very first page, display them well, frame them up, make them look tasty and fun. The lineup of plain white T's in little thumbnails that are impossible to read without clicking through is really going to turn people away once they click two or three they probably won't stay. (people hate to click through every little thing on websites) I prefer a decent sized clear thumbnail of the actual graphic (not on a t-shirt) with a plain background that I can read, see and understand fairly well without having to click through. You might also try a personal touch, run contests to find cute girls and guys to put in your T-shirts, (I would ;-) offer some extra pics of customers wearing that people can look at if they like. If you offer a customer gallery, you will create repeat business through the people who are in the gallery, and all their friends they tell to go see them in the gallery. look here, www.threadless.com they have a serious underground following, and while you might not be able to get as in depth with your design and website as they have it you could get some good ideas from how they set up their site.
oh yeah..
I used to own an online store, and I did pretty well, this is the stuff I learned. I might know some more, but not right now. :smokin:

oh yeah and look here www.tshirthell.com
and definately get the direct link to cafepress.com off the site, you can thumbnail the graphics and link the click through to the cafepress page. The cafepress site alone is enough to make some people click off. It is very white and boring.
