question about 2 year old weed...

as i was cleaning my room a few days ago, i found a bag under my bedside drawers...i completely forgot about it until now...

so my question is...seeing as it's 2 years old...will it be "off"? will it be bad to smoke? just kinda curious before i use it...

Take a close look at your weed with a magnifying glass. If you see any mold do NOT smoke it. Most weed that comes into america is at least 1-3 years old. Thats why it's brown. Cannabis does have a shelf life unless its made into hash, or oils. It may be smokable, but it may not be as good as you remembered.

An old (recent) friend of mine told me that his father kept trash bags full of dirt weed.

I smoked some "really good stuff" from somewhere "special" once that was 5 years or so old. The friend quite because of random UA's, but has been saving tons of it for "retirment".

Anyway, It got me high, but barely. He hadn't vacuum sealed it, or even stored it in a sealed container. Just a sandwich bag. Not sure if sealing it could have saved it.

The problem with storing cannabis in plastic bags is cannabis trichomes will attach themselves to the plastic magnetically. The next time you put cannabis in a plastic bag, such as a baggie, take out the cannabis and then take a look at the plastic bag. You will see all kinds of THC/Trichomes stuck to the inside of the baggie. Life is too short to smoke old cannabis.

thats why you "scrape" your bag with your finger... you end up wit a few hits of some bomb keif or "hash"

I enjoy a good hit of kief every chance i get. If i'm not making bubble hash with my leftovers, i do have a kief box that i bought at the Golden Triangle, in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury that i use to rub leaves and trim over. The kewl thing about my bubble bags is that there is virtually zero pollutants in the hash. Pure THC Hits. I have some friends who call my hash, marijuana crack. Its very sweet. Good luck collecting those kief hits off the inside of your baggies.
