just started growing and need help. plants grow nice but little buds

There is a wooded area and i would clear it out and plant a seed, now remeber im not to keen on growing amazing shit i just wanna make something that will get me high and that i dont have to care for too much or buy expensive lightings for it so please give me a run down on how'd i start to grow and make the plants produce some weed.
