too much for a recipe for hash i seen you would need a few oz's of bud seems pointless to me and each quaintity depends on how you are making it so be more specific

I think abound a pound of midgrade cannabis will yeild you an ounce of pure hash. Someone correct me if I am off. But I have read this somewhere.

well an ounce ov hash lookz like nuttin compared 2 a few g'z ov bud. first time i saw hash i thot buddy wuz tryin to rip me fer quantity, i thot the half o he had wuz only a few gz. doubt if i helped, juss tryin 2 state that u need a shitload ov budz 2 make a sufficient amount ov pre hash. id say a pound is fairly accurate fer a o ov hash.

Yeah hash is a lot smaller per gram than the size of bud you get. Because it is compacted and solid pretty much. Unlike a fluffy airy bud.

fer sure fer sure...i did end up buyin a g ov buddy'z hash tho. it wuznt as good as hash ive had recently. usually i get a .5 ov hash, n a g ov bud. roll a few mixed jointz.

Your trying to make Hash oil not Hash. Wrong recipe.

If you want to go for it anyway, you don't need a shitload of weed. Just take 10 grams, grind it with a coffee grinder or a mortar & pestal, take 100% iso (you can use lesser grades, but you have to wait to evaporate it longer) pour it into a container with a weed till it covers the weed. Let it evaporate for a few hours, then run it through a strainer onto a glass plate, and put it in a pan, and most importantly COVER IT WITH A LID. If you don't it's a entire waste. Turn it onto low heat, and let it evaporate for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, you have some hash oil. You can either mold it into a piece of "hash" which is still hash oil none the less, or you can rub the oil with a few buds. Enjoy.
