your plants in picture 2 ARE awesome and should not be switched to CFL's..
maybe even moving the light closer..
only do this if you feel confident that you can keep the heat off the plants.. using fans...

if you put your hand at the top of the canaopy.. the top of your plants.. and you hand can withstand the heat.. then, in general so can your plants... every 12 inches, that light moves further from the plants it looses 1/2 of its lumens... THIS is SERIOUS shit

The 41 plants have been veging now for two weeks, I want to know how much longer should I leave them on 18-6 cycle before I switch to 12-12.
