New Room

Hey guys, this is a new room. The first room has 60 clones, and the second has 41 plants. The 41 plants have been veging now for two weeks, I want to know how much longer should I leave them on 18-6 cycle before I switch to 12-12. Also, just some tips, pointers, suggestions, and comments would be appreciated.

How much longer to veg? Um... are you going to SCRoG them or something? Are you transplanting all 41 to bigger pots?
I guess it's a given that all the clones are from a female mother... right?

Answer to first question : The room that has the 41 bigger plants is running on two brand new 600 WATT HPS ( Like I said they have been veging for 2 weeks now ) And the other room which has 60 new clones it is running under two older 1000 WATT HPS systems. Most all the plants are in 12 IN pots, just the one I used for the sharpie picture is in a pretty small pot. I have large rotating fans in each room moving air. Two fans blowing air between the rooms, and one large extractor fan pulling air through the carbon filter to the outside. (also could someone post a good idea for putting some co2 into the room)

Second question : This is the first time I have delt with the guy so who really knows, but yes its to be assumed.

Looking Good! What kind of stuff do you clone with. I've only gotten about 50% of my cuttings to clone :cursing:

I use a CO2 tank and a regulator but for a room that size I would have to recomend that you get a good CO2 generator. You'll also need to make sure your exhaust isn't sucking the CO2 right out of the air and venting it outside. There are many controllers out there that do this.

The beauty of your own grow is part that you alone are able to determine when to start the flower cycle by switching to 12/12.

I have found that starting them any earlier than 28 days is a waste.

More specifically, I prefer to flower based upon plant growth levels rather than time.

Rule #1... You must imaging them growing 3X taller after switching to flower...and ask yourself if that will satisfy your desires.

There are no rules other than that.

For flowering clones, I wait until they are at least 12" tall. You will wind up with 2.5 - 3 foot tall plants...most of which will be pure flower stalk from your clones.

By all looks, it appears you have a ways to go. A long ways.

With all those black containers you have chosen, the heat retention from those reflectors is likely holding them back from growing. The reflector and the black bases can create a radiant heat zone that clones particularly are sensitive to in the root section.

Also, those were very young tender shoots taken as clones...almost bordering on too early.

These will take a while. They are no where near being ready to flower at this point.

I would advise that the grower wait until 12 inches of growth, at least, is obtained. It appears your focal point should be on getting the growth rate accelerated...but since you didn't ask, I won't advise.

You will have an awesum grow...but you need to wait and give them a chance to develope some girth. I would at least triple the fan action.

Give it another month...and...add some superthrive to you 6.8 water.

Attached are some pics I found on the internet of some 32 day old clones. They were placed in flower on day 28 at about 15 inches.

When they fully blossom, they will be single large 40" buds. Each 3.5 feet long bud will weigh at least one ounce each...cured weight. :dance:

Watch the main stem base. You will know its time when it is fat and thick like a white bic pen...you will need it to support the bud.
