    Alright I gotta Question!!

okay i just came up with an idea i could grow maybe 2 or 3 plants in this spot in my house until they were about a foot tall. Then i would take them up to this big hill thing up behind my house to put them(this would be summer). Its a good spot and nobody goes up there. we have very hot sunny summers most of the time . My problem is that it dosent have ALOT of percipitation i mean its not like a desert or anything it rains a decent amount. but would i need to go up there and water the sons of bitches every day or would it be good with the natural water.

    Alright I gotta Question!!

    HI BOB!

TRY it,,, You will most likely have to lug a few gallons up inthe begining (not everyday). Depending on the outside temp. But there is a good chance that the MJ will find its own water/moisture in the soil..

If the plants survive they can often grow 10-20 feet outdoors... this is why you should TRY!!

    Alright I gotta Question!!

If at all possible you need to try to amend the soil and grow right in the dirt. That gives you the ability to say that you "had no idea it was growing there".

Plus pots restrict roots and big roots = big buds

You might need to carry some water from time to time. If you go without rain for a long time you'll need to give them a helping hand.

    Alright I gotta Question!!

    Hi Bob,

If you don't want to water then you will need to dig them in. In pots they will need to be watered as much as everyday, especially on hot days.

    Alright I gotta Question!!

Dig holes as deep as you can and about 4-5 feet apart. You are just tring to loosen it up. If the soil is humus rich then you can just add some bat guano or something, also you should add a small amount (handful) of hydrated lime in each hole. (don't add too much lime) If the soil is clay then you will need to add some potting soil to the loosened soil. If it is too sandy then you will need to again add some potting soil. Here's how to tell what kind of soil you have: wet it some and then grab a fistful if the fistful remains in a nice loose clump with no sand running through your fingers then you've got good soil. If you grab a fistful and it remains in this clump and is somewhat clay like then you have bad soil and will nedd to add the - soil - guano - lime. This should give you a good healthy grow.

THis is a bit tough to describe but i hope this helps.

Depends on how they are going to be artifcially lit or are you going to be keeping them in a sunny location? They grow fast and usually 4 - 8 weeks prior is fine. If you want then to be 12" my plants get to be 12" in as little as 3 weeks so.

Also Bob remember to harden off your plants before planting then in the ground. Hardening off = put the plants in a very sheltered location not in the sun for several days before putting them outside permenantly. Take them back in again at night. Do this as many times as your patience will allow. This is ultra important I hate to see folks go through all that wrk for nothing.
