Hey-

One of my buddies actually grabbed some greenery at a head shop. He got REAL whiny, saying something along the lines like "Hey man,... Do you have any idea what it's like to be in a place where you don't know any connections?" He bought a nice glass piece and the guy apparently made a phone call for him, but it took a lot of bitching and moaning.

I was just in a head shop in NYC and I was talking to this other dude in the store, and I said "man thats a nice piece, I wish I had something dank to put in it" And the guy working at the head shop got real pissed.

So I guess if you really bitch and moan and you find a kind soul you can get lucky. But I wouldn't even bother trying.

Also, I picked up a JBD bong at that particular head shop, and it puts all my other pipes and bongs to shame. I will post pics tomorrow morning.

I would vote against asking, you'll mostly likely get nothing out of it, and most likely get kicked out or arrested. At the headshops I go to, you have to talk all formal, and no slang allowed. You have to say water pipe instead of bong.

Man that sucks for you guys. Round here we've got a store called the Blue Banana which sells bongs, pipes etc... and they're really relaxed about it. There's a sign on the display cabinet saying that if you're under 16 you'll be asked to move away, but chatting to the staff they're really cool about discussing what products they've got it - not insisting you call bongs water pipes ar anything like that.
