If you have a medical problem that you are on a perscription for and you think Medical MJ will help then go see a doctor at a place like NORCAL and bring your pills.The doctor will give you a script if your already on meds.If you aren't on any meds just make an opointment with the main Doctor.He will talk to you and deside if you need it or not.
And your going to need 150 bucks.

To be a designated care grower you need one or more person with a Dr. note and they appoint you to be their care grower. You need a copy of their medical note from their Dr.

At this time a county or state ID card is not required. It may at some point in the future be required to register but not at this time. The state has stated that registered users may have their information shared with the Federal Gov if the Gov ask.

You can also volunteer to grow for any of the local Medical clubs as well. But keep in mind that the feds are raiding clubs to get their hands on the member list and the provider list imo.

It is a good idea if you are going to grow for another that you obtain the right paper work. Here in SF the "caregiver" can also obtain a Med Cannabis card from the city for a cost of 25$ per year. After the first year the next 25$ is good for two years. It doesnt protect us from feds, but it helps in court if needed. I live within 4 blocks from 5 cannabis clubs. If you have a San Francisco Med Cannabis card you can grow 25 plants, carry up to .4lb of cannabis in route from point a to point b, and you really need not worry about being locally arrested unless you get caught going in clubs and coming back out and selling to another. Thats a fucking no no. One club on Mission Street here they rent a parking lot from the State Parole Office. No shit.

Hey Gen, Good question, Great info as usual...Another Question; How many other states allow medmj to be grown by caregiver's?

I know florida has a program. Anybody???
