I use a big paperclip. Those things are a huge help.

If you got chunks, just break them off and smoke them.

But when those are gone, you gotta start getting serious. Just start scraping every which way you can. If it gives you any resistance, it's resin. When you're against glass, the clip will just slide around.

So, you scrape like a bastard. Then, turn it upside down over a white sheet of paper and hit it against your palm. If you've never really scraped it before, this should release a jackpot. Then, mound it all up and compact it into a ball.

If you're smoking the chunks, it's about as potent as it's size in weed. But if you're smoking the powder rolled into a ball, it's a bit more powerful. And, when toking, be gentle.

Oh, and it will crackle. Don't worry about it.

edit: And, I've never really found heating it to be much help. All that does is make it really gooey, which then just sticks to your fingers.
