If you are going hydro try Vita Grow products they work equally as well in rockwool / promix / hydroton. If you are going soil inorganic then you can try peter's it's a powder you mix with water it does not build up as much in the soil as say your Miracle Grow (but even with Peter's you still need to flush every so often). Soil organic would be bat guano, budswella, fish emulsion ect. The Vita Grow is probably one of the best going though.

I forgot you should follow the instructions for how often, and the numbers are NPK so a 20-20-20 fertilizer has 20 nitrogen (for green growth), 20 potasium (for flowering), and 20 potash (for all around healthy plants). The higher these numbers are the less you will need to use of them.

the easyest for the new grower would be....
Foxfarm "grow big" for vegging and
"Tiger Bloom" for flowering.

N-P-K, nitrogen-phosphate-potash or the amount of each desovable within the mix itself for vegging you want something high in nitrogen low in p-k for flowering you want something higher in p lower in N-K last 2 weeks of flowering no nutz at all to deminish harshness of smoke also aggre harmoni about the foxfarm grow big an tigerbloom great for beginers easy to use pick up a bottle of superthrive while you at it as well
If you cant grow it..dont smoke it! :thumbsup:

N=Nitrogen P=Pottasium K=Potash
For new plants the mixture can vary depending on the tolerance of the plant. You can find that out from your seed breeder. Common starting mixtures are 5-5-5 10-10-10 and 20-20-20 at 1/4 strength gradually increasing to 1/2 strength. Don't give your plants any for at LEAST the first two weeks. You may notice the colydotens (Embryrotic Leaves) yellow but in most strains this is completly normal
