Hey guys, Ive grown before, but am fairly new to cloning... So I have a big question... and it may be a stupid one for you veterans....
Ive done regular clones before, just your basic way of doing it, but recently 1 plant I have had gotten to tall and the top was really causing a lot of light issues for the lower portion of the plant. So I decided to top it, I cut the very top off... now I topped it so that I got a nice 6 inch cutting with several nice set of leaves and in a nice vegetaitve state. I figure you can use this as a clone correct? Ive read tons and tons about cloning but they never mention anything about using the top, maybe I havent searched enough, but Ive had no luck finding anything.
I used the water method for rooting and after 7 days;no roots yet, but the cutting seems to be doing fine, I spray it several times daily. and keep it out of direct light.
SO basically anyone have any information about this? Do you do anything differently when cloning this part? Can you clone this part? And how long will it take for it to root?
Thanks for any help
