Has anyone here ever visited or lived in Nelson, BC? If so, what is the climate like there for smoking? Is it more laid back than here in the states? Is it as nice of a town as it appears to be on their websites?

From what i here, BC is great for Bud.
Alot of the bud that comes to the States is shipped from British Columbia.

Nelson is one of the bigger stoner cities in BC. The first hemp shop was opened there that helped sparked the *cannabis* phenomenom in BC Canada. In this kid cannabis article, the cops tell the kids to go to Nelson because the weed's better there...

Theres lots of weed in Nelson, and lots of weed in BC.

Great weather from what i hear also... as long as you don't mind the colder winters

I live in Nelson.....it's pretty fucken awsome.the whole atmosphere is so laidback and chill.The skihill is 20 mins away and we have all the bud you could possibly want.It is a really small town though so it does get really boring sometimes.....all in all I fucken love growin up here :thumbsup:

I've lived in prince george, surrey, abbotsford, salmon arm, and now kelowna. I can't definately say kelowna is the best city I've lived in so far here in B.C. and yeah, people are pretty laid back about weed (for the most part, there's always your classic nutjobs about it). just last week me and a couple friends were standing in front of the bank smoking a pipe in bright daylight, cars and people everywhere, nobody bothered us.

ya the funny thing is some people come here thinking weed is legal....so sometimes you see some totally oblivious person walking down the street with a bong while everyone just looks at him like WTF??!?!?!!??! I love it

Yup, BC is the place to be and Nelson is a cool little place. You forgot to mention it is the polygamy captiol of BC too. Let's just hope Stephen Harper's Conservatives don't get elected on Jan. 23 because he wants jail time for pot smokers.

mrdevious - of the places you mentioned, Kelowna is the best. Prince George is the worst. Who the hell would want to live in a city of 3 stinky pulp mills and built on Native Indian burial grounds???!!! That's just bad Karma all over the place.

Yup, BC has the best bud. American authorities just hate BC for that. Weed would be legal in BC and Canada if it weren't for pressure from the American admin.

dude Nelson B.C .. omg . if there is a city in B.C with the best atmosphere for Cronic that is the place my buddy has a plant there . best weed city in canada.!
