Thank you very much for all the good replies. We are wanting to find a small, quiet town in the Rockies to spend a few weeks just relaxing. I had heard from a friend that Nelson was great and full of really nice, cool people.
Isn't there a ski resort of some sort nearby? How is the fly fishing there?
Thanks, and have a great week all.
Onward!

If you email me at my handle at hushmailcom, I will tell you a couple other small towns that are nice like Nelson and could use an influx of new people.

Hi mfactor420. I'm trying to reply to you via hushmail, but I can't seem to access my account right now. I'll try again later this evening. Like you, my email address is my handle at hushmail dot com.
I'd love to hear from you. We're looking for a place to spend a few weeks, and perhaps even get a vacation home in time.
We really want a pretty town, preferably sort of a Victorian looking town, that is relatively small, full of people who are easy going and friendly, and has beautiful scenery. Fly fishing is a huge plus!
Open-mindedness about smoking is an even bigger plus!!! :smokin:
I'll see if I can reach you after dinner in a little while. Take care.
Onward!

Yup, it's a good place too, but the ferry costs to mainland etc. will kill the budget. Don't eat at Molly's Reach. It may be a famous coffee shop (Beachcombers), but the food sucks and the service is low class. At least it was when I ate there.

I live in Nelson as well, and its an awesome place to live in. Everyone is sooo laid back about weed its great! I just moved here 3 months ago, and I don't think I ever want to move. Its a real great location, and a beautiful town. And i swear you can get the best weed here in all of BC. although I don't have many conections

Glad to hear it's so open-minded there. I'm sure that there are those who look down their noses at us and who would cause us trouble if given the chance, but at least it sounds like it's much more acceptable there.

How cheap is cheap for weed in Kamloops? I get from my buddy in Vancouver 14g = $100.
