What are the disadvantage of breaking up your weed in advanced?

Dries it out alot quicker. Put it somewheres where it won't breathe too much. Cause if its sticky bud. Then all your sticky goes away. I've had some weed that went dry and wasn't half as good as the fresh stuff. This is just what I've found though. I always wait to bust my bud.

Yea, I don't think it makes that much of a difference, but you can afford to wait untill you're ready to smoke it before you break it up.

Yea, the only time that going through it all would ever matter is if you had some nice dank, like sweet tooth or something, that had a lot of crystals. Thats why i try not to break up my dank, because if I loose the crystals then I wont get as blazed as I'd like to be :stoned: . But If i have some mids or some lower grade dank then I'll grind it up because its easier to pack.

So overall it would depend ont he quality and if your bud has a bunch of crystals.

seems like it would dry out a lot faster and then that would make it burn faster. doesnt a slower burn make more smoke... or does that even matter?

I have a little over and eight of some pretty good bud left. For convenience I'd like to just throw it in the coffee grinder and remove the very few seeds. However, I've been told a million times, that's really bad to do.

But all it does is make it less fresh, right? I mean, I don't give a damn about the taste, so if it doesn't do anything to the potency I'm going to do it anyway. Just checking first.

well i tell you, it doesn't change all that much, it changes the potency of course so if you can keep it in a nug that's always better...but you shouldn't bother with that type of question!!!

Why on earth would someone grind up their stash? I dont get it, what do you think your fingers are for? If your smoking dank I DEFINATELY dont see how you could grind it up in a machine, how could you do that to some nice fluffy or sticky Dank like that? I love sitting down and breaking up a few nice buds BY HAND and putting it in my portable stash container, its like a part of the culture.
If you have some crappy mids or some nasty schwag I guess it dont matter much, but your gonna be wasting what little THC is in the stuff...

Actually, if it's real sticky like that, you shouldn't use your hands. It will make it less sticky and therefore, less potent. Use a blade or something...
