Cannabis may soon be reclassified back to 'B' in the UK
http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/cri...icle336629.ece
I'm pretty amazed that I can't find any threads on this already, this is big news in the cannabis world, and a major setback! When will the Government realise that people are going to take cannabis whether it's legal or not.
At least if it were legal, there would be more control over who smokes it, where as there is currently non due to the fekless dealers. When will they realise the prohibition is counter-productive and only encourages organised crime! As well as consuming massive amounts of police resources, who if you asked them would prefer to be fighting greater crimes. Even the Ex-chief of police has said that cannabis should be legalised as a means to combatting crime!
The mis-informed and scare mongering media are winning the war against cannabis, AND WE'RE LETTING THEM!Corinthian Reviewed by Corinthian on . Not only that, prices will shoot up in big cities.
It's fucked up, i completely agree. The papers write articles on 'druggies' which is seen as any illegal substance, people don't seem to realise that dope is practically harmless in the short-term.
Fucktards.

They Talk about doing it all the time, I doubt they will, or at least I hope they won't.

Not the case at all to my knowledge, the Tories talk about reversing the reclassification all the time, but not since David Cameron took the reins interestingly. I'll be very interested in what he has to say in fact, it could well be the deciding factor in how I vote in 4 years time.

That does suck and it seems like they are going after the wrong drug. I read an article that cocaine use is WAY up in the UK. Itā??s become very popular for club going people etc. I wish I could find the article I read but I guess coke use is up at is highest level in like 20 years or something. Seems like they need to worry about coke and not pot that much.
Although Iā??m sure some bureaucrat would figure out a way to say the lesser pot laws have created the surge in coke use, I donā??t know how but they would probably find a way.

Mr Clarke responded: "Yes. People do not understand the impact of the consumption of cannabis well enough and what the legal consequences of consuming cannabis are."
YES THEY DO HYPOCRITICAL U FUK, and it seems more so than you
"I am also very worried about the most recent medical evidence on mental health. This is a very serious issue."
there has never been any solid evidence that links prolonged recreational use of cannabis to cause mental health of any kind. i hate it when they use that old line!
what would be the worst that could happen if it were leaglised, most accidents and fatalities are caused by legal drugs like alcohol and tobacco, yada yada....
It also bugs me that they reclassify magic mushrooms to class A, yet other hallucinogens are prfectly legal like DXM in cough syrup which is disguised and far more dangeros (my brother when he was 4 had 2 spoonfulls of cough medicine and has horrible visions of spiders over him..this from a legal and suposedly 'safe' product)
DRUG LAWS ARE FUCKING WRONG: How can be a crime to smoke a plant that occurs naturally....
any ways...ive ranted on, but it just gets to me

What is this? The muppet show?
The people we have running our country are a joke. Who the hell do they think they are? Worrying about a plant when some guy got off with having 80 wraps on heroin in his pocket - the sooner I get out of this shithole, the better!
Raaaaar!
