I've been dipping on and off for around five or so years, typicall snus or Grizzly Wintergreen when I can't afford anything else. I'd recommend dipping snus because of the incredibly low levels of TSNAs (the cancer causing elements in chewing tobacco). I'll go threw typically three or four cans a week, and my teeth and gums are in relatively pristine condition. Hell man, if it relaxes you go for it.
