    cloning sex

if you grew a plant & cloned it before putting it into flower (before you know the sex) would all the clones be the same as the mother, i.e. is the sex determined before it starts to flower?
if not then that would be handy!

Sex is already determined from seed.

Most go the other way around. Start some plants. Take a clone from each, mark or number to know whitch mother it came from. Put them in 12/12 light and wait 2 to 3 weeks or untill they show sex. Any that are male kill it and the mother. If you have females then clone the hell out of the mother and your all females no guessing. This is the way I go. No males make it to the flower room.

    Here.

If what you said were true there would be no such thing as feminised seeds.

I posted a thread with the picture a couple of weeks ago...
I think the conclusion was that the picture is really worthless...

Let me see if I can find the thread...

Sorry TC but he is correct. Sex is determined in the RNA and not the DNA of the plant.

A feminized is not always a female. They just have a higher chance of being female then normal seeds. If the environment gets away a feminized plant can turn hermie just as quick as any other plant can.

Now you know why I don't buy feminized seeds they are not worth the price. imo.
