The problem with cannabis is that they all do look very similar, well, most of the commercial strains...i mean, obviously once you look closely you can see differentials, but at first glance bud often looks samey.

Unless of course you're smoking schwag, in which case the brown-ness wont look like anything i've ever smoked :P

Look for the crystals and the red hairs, thats how I tell if its any good. I am confused. Are you talking about strains or the quality of bud?

I was referring to the difficulty of identifying top-grade bud, having crystals and hairs doesn't really tell you much apart from it being a good indication of quality.
