vegatative growth stage. This happens after the seedling stage and with poppy plants it is sometimes called the lettuce stage because it looks just like lettuce growing. This stage is 12 hours on and 12 off for your lighting. Flowering stage happens when you put the light on 24/0.

okay so after you cut the pod open and try the black paste is it ready to consume or does it need further treating, and where does red opium come from

yes but it can be washed first too. And red rock opium if that's what you mean is incense at your local head shop. It comes from the berry of some other plant and has nothing to do with opium. I have seen it going around and tried some but the stuff just melted down into the bowl so I got rid of that shit due to the fear of what it does to your lungs.

what time of year should i plant for the biggest yeild? i am thinking earaly march/late february. they are supposed to finish in like 55 days. according to the website afghani speacial plants are ready to slice at 55 days. (estimation)
