opium is verry addictive, but mild compared to codene, morphine and heroin. so if you can handle addictino well, go for it, if not, be carefull.

Good links there, wouldn't mind trying opium. Might just order meself some seeds .
Although the yeild isn't very high, as long as it keeps me content then I'm happy. I'm not looking to sell anyway.

you think if i plant all 4500 seeds in this big space of land i have, i could get a pretty sizeable amount? im thinking of just aerating my front lawn and scattering them all over. that would be fun! hehe.

yeah rip your lawn right out and sod it and you can. here is a pic of a few I grew last summer. I didn't harvest any o and I dont think it would be worth it unless you had tons and tons of them growing. I bought a seed pack of 10,000 with 10 varieties including gigantheums wich I have yet to find and grow out of my seed pack. They are easy as hell to grow though and they have high germination rates.

also the seeds are tiny so if you mix them with sand and then spread that they wont be as close together when they sprout
