It is highly illegal to cut the pods but......
some people chomp on a dozen or so pods even before they flower .
you can also make tea with the ripe pods......
there is more alkaloid content in the young plants roots......
even the seeds alone can work

much less chance of getting in trouble that way and you still get the effects and you can fill your yard with plants and get more yields without having cut pods for all to see
just dont get to smoke that way unless...
