Yeah,

The major underlying questions raised by the movie Syriana are ā??

Has the USA done everything it possibly can for decades to prevent peace and stability in the middle east, including specific key assignations of people in power that were trying to improve there own countries with their oil money, AND sell oil to other countries that could possible be a future threat like China?

Did this process knowingly and intentionally create people in these countries to want to commit terrorist acts against the USA, sometimes with weapons lost in the very deals the USA was doing to deter these countries from profiting from their own oil sales?

And lastly did the USA see these terrorist acts committed on itself as beneficial to selling the American people to wage wars against those countries, if it ever decided it was necessary, so it could further prevent them from ever being able to be self sufficient and prosper from their own oil sales?

Its just a movie right? There is no truth to any of that... right? We really do want peace and stability in Iraq....

Right?

I will be interested to hear how true some of the scenarios portrayed in the movie are to real world reality. In addition to China wanting to buy the oil, Rating: 5
