Tobacco and tobacco products are unscheduled in the United States and are legal for adults to both sell and possess. It is against FDA regulations to sell the following products to those under the age of 18:


Cigarettes
Cigarette tobacco
Smokeless tobacco (Smokeless tobacco includes loose leaf chewing tobacco, plug chewing tobacco, twist chewing tobacco, moist snuff, and dry snuff.)

It is not federally illegal for those under 18 years old to purchase or possess tobacco...only for stores to sell to them. Some individual states have enacted legislation making possession by minors against the law.

I used to smoke Nat Sherman cigs when I could afford them. They're "all-natural", and expensive.

I do not know if Sherman tobacco is grown in soil containing Polonium 210, a radioactive, cancer-causing substance, like most major brands' crops.

Better to quit while you're ahead - but if I HAD to smoke, I'd probably stick with Shermans - at least until I found something that was definitly safer than the major brands.

the way i figure it...if you are gonna smoke, you are gonna smoke...nothin changes who you are...just that you are a smoker...no big deal...i only smoke when i drink...and that's what i'll continue to do...only when i'm drunk...that's just how it is for me...too bad i dont' haven any now cuz i'm wasted off my ass and i need a cig lol...

Actually 3rdEyeVision is right it is actually illegal to grow tobacco.Tobacco is a controlled substance by the goverment and to grow your own tobacco is considered a crime! Stupid fucking shit but its true, when i was in elementary school one of my friend's Dad grew his own tobacco, and when i found out what he was growing he told me that it was actually illegal and made me swear not to tell no one. The world is full of stupid laws!
EDIT: Ok after looking up a few things via Google, its illegal to grow Tobacco with out a Liscence from the goverment, thats even worse lol
