    The Cult of the Bushling

Recently, as President Bush??s poll numbers have dropped, I have noticed some alarming cult-like behavior among his hardcore supporters. In particular, when challenged by harsh facts about their Dear Leader, Bushists - like Moonies - reflexively answer allegations based on hard cold facts with nonsense and practiced nonsequitors - assertions that they sincerely seem to believe but that make absolutely no sense to others.

This made me wonder - is Bushism a cult?"

As the article asserts, a cult is driven by a "leader" whose own doctrines are unquestioned by his devotees.

In the most destructive cults, such as Jim Jones' People's Temple, the leader himself is deranged.

The following statement from the Bushling indicates that he has begun to blur the distinction between himself and the Deity:

"God loves you, and I love you. And you can count on both of us as a powerful message that people who wonder about their future can hear. It's a powerful message. And it's a message that a lot of people can spread."

The fact that this and similar statements remain on the White House website show that his closest advisors are desensitized to their tin idol's continued mental deterioration.

Such posts on a Government website give further credence to other reports of the Bushling's hallucinations. \

    The Cult of the Bushling

yeah, i don't give a fuck about bush, bush is the red paint on the coke can...why can't people understand that...

nothing changes from administration to administration, in many cases, it's always the same people behind the scenes...nothing changes! government gets bigger and they suck more money from us...

the entire government, time after time, is corrupt and becoming increasingly tyrannical...we've just happened to see the visible signs of tyranny manifesting under bush moreso than any other president...
