the problem is the media doesnt publish any pro-marijuana articles, and even worse, it's taboo for cnn. if cnn did something on it people would probably watch it with an open mind just because it's on cnn, their trusted news source. it needs to be made a real issue, that is the objective that NORML is aiming towards. that is their main objective atm isn't it?

legalising weed would cut down its effect as a gateway drug, because stoners wouldnt asociate much with hard drug users. People who dribnk every day of their life usually dont start using smack, so why should weed users.

personally i think it can only be a gateway drug because it is illegal. People will group marijuana with all other illegal drugs and some people (not a lot) will be like ,"well i already tried one illegal drug why not another"
