US planning strike against Iran

The United States government reportedly began coordinating with NATO its plans for a possible military attack against Iran.

The German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel collected various reports from the German media indicating that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization are examining the prospects of such a strike.

According to the report, CIA Director Porter Goss, in his last visit to Turkey on December 12, requested Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to provide military bases to the United States in 2006 from where they would be able to launch an assault.

The German news agency DDP also noted that countries neighboring Iran, such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, and Pakistan were also updated regarding the supposed plan. American sources sent to those countries apparently mentioned an aerial attack as a possibility, but did not provide a time frame for the operation. Although Der Spiegel could not say that these plans were concrete, they did note that according to a January 2005 New Yorker report American forces had entered Iran in 2005 in order to mark possible targets for an aerial assault.

Sooooo I guess we can expect a staged terrorist attack on the homeland anytime now...Torog do you really want another war? The majority of americans dont want war, and if you look back to the lead up to Iraq war its pretty questionable at how Bush&co sold it to us & the world..Even the 9-11 issues is questionable...I say it again If Israel or the U.S. bombs Iran I have no doubt that Russia & China will get in on it--Ohh yeah Irans is changing to Euros in March....peace

Nope...I don't want another war-but we may not have the luxury of choice,it may be forced upon us,if Iran attacks Israel or Iraq. 9/11/01,was forced upon us,we didn't ask for it-but we'll dang sure finish it,can't expect the democrappers to handle things,they're too busy apologizing to the terrorists and looking for ways to appease them-than to think of ways to defeat the terrorists.

As for russia and china,let em show their true colors,it's time the world woke up to the fact that they both represent a grave threat to the Free World,both of em,are playin possum and pretending to be mostly harmless,even as they deploy new,improved weapon systems and icbm's.

While you may consider the muslim jihadists to not be a threat-Israel has no such delusions,they'll hit every arab country around them,with several slobber-knockers..and take the fight right out of em.
