What is the very first sign of the Sex?

I think I might have my first sign of sex and I think it's a boy. It's just a tiny little ball on the side of the stem. It might be hard to say from the pics but can anybody tell me what im looking for.

it will look like a tiny rose bud..
if you take a clear picture of the top node... i bet someone on here can help you..

then again... it probably won't be long before someone posts you a detailed picture of plant sex organs... heheeh

Well if this plant is make that would suck ass. I really hoping to watch this one bud. Been my fastest growing and best looking. doh. That's about as good as it gets pic wise but I marked the pic this time.

with me I first thought it was a hair untill I peed out of it but then I was years and years away from having sex :-)

but really though. a ball means MALE but nake sure there isnt two hairs coming out of it. also sometimes plants can have female flowers on the top and on the bottom of the plant there will be balls. that is a hermie kill,kill,kill......

i beleive its too early to tell, if you have more plants, which im assuming you do, keep a close eye on it over the next week or so.

I agree with hempsmoker on this one.

Give that a little more time to mature, check up on it, and your other plants (if you have more?) at least once a day I would say, just to see whats happening. If it were me I would be taking a magnifying glass to the sucker and seeing if I could see two little hairs poking out of that ball. Unfortunately males tend to mature faster than females and I recall you saying this one was your fastest grower so...
