I hate "Freebird". Stupid lyrics, stupid melody, boring verses, and a repetitive, much-too-long guitar solo. Nothing makes me change the radio station faster than this song.

Also, remember... Some songs can get grating when you hear them too many times on the radio, or whatever, but please consider the individual merit of the song. Songs like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Hotel California" are now staples of classic rock, but they started out just like every other song - with a chord progression, melody, and lyrics. Stairway was an important moment in rock because it expanded the limits of what the genre could express and how to produce and arrange the song to best express it.

Think of it this way - they're the same songs today as they were decades ago. It's just that, now, even mentioning the title of a song like Stairway connotates so much more than just the song itself.
