Man I played Mafia for XBox, and yes that game smacked me in the face.

but what make PC version so much better?

I have it on Xbox also and it just sucks. The graphics are bad, the game play is bad, its just not a game (the on foot parts) ever ment to be played with a controller. You really should avoid this game on Xbox or PS2 and only play it on PC. And because it is 3 or 4 years old, it will run well even on older PCs.

I read a review for mafia and it sounds good (altho, from the screenie's, it does look old)

Sounds pretty good, might try the demo, and if i like it try and download it off a torrent. But the review said the cars only go at like 40 MPH, and if you go at 40 MPH you get pulled over. Lmao.

It had better graphics back when it came out than a lot of games today. It has WAY better graphics than GTA-SA. And yeah the 40 speed limit is part of the game, so is running from the cops, just like GTA. Remember the whole game takes place in the 1930s.

Donâ??t worry, you will LOVE IT! I'm envious of anyone that hasnâ??t played this game before because you are in for probably the single best gamming experience of your life! To smoke some pot and play MAFIA for the first time, wow... You are in for a real treat!!!

P.S. the very first part where you have to out run the gangsters in your taxi is actually pretty hard. Just keep making turns like crazy and you will get through it. Also try to go between the corner of a building and a lamp post because the car chasing you will almost always hit the lamp post and have to back up. I have read where a lot of people get all pissed on that opening part because itâ??s pretty hard.
