As an american I always was kinda fascinated by Canada's low violent crime rate and generally seemingly utopian society (compared to the US)..Hell I would totally move up there if I could stand the winter.

I remember in Fareinheit 911 there are all these interviews with Canadians who are baffled by american societies violence.

When I was a young lad, I had my bouts of gang violence, Living in the middle of the ghetto isnt easy. I have a scar close to the right side of my pelvis where I got shot by a 9MM, I have a piece of .22 bullet about the size of a BB just under the skin on the side of my head, and I have a nice big stab wound on my right shoulder. I spent 6 years out of an 18 month sentence in juvie for fucking around with shit like that, I dont see a reason for it now. :sadcrying

Find The Info Here So as a resident of Toronto, I feel that this is an issue that must be addressed a lot harder in the future. The increase in Gang violence this year has been ridiculous. Innocent people are now being killed. People no older than some of you on this site. A few of my friends knew the girl that was killed. A few of my friends were even across the street at the time.
