just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday. after the surgery, when the nurse asked if i smoked i said no, so now i have no idea how long i have to wait before i can smoke again. anyone have any idea?

My friend just got hers out and based on her experiences, you can smoke when it doesn't hurt to do so?... If you have dry sockets, though, you might have to either wait longer or put something over them.

Either way, I would just start smoking to dull the pain.

When I got mine pulled, I was smoking like 6 hours after. Although, it differs.

the reason you cant smoke for a bit afterwords is the sucking opens up the hole and then you start bleeding like crazy.

good, I was waiting for a real reason. Jesus, all this talk about wisdom teeth reminds me that Im supposed to get mine out soon. Ahh, I hate dentists, so I might be draft dodging so to speak... :stoned:

i smoked a few loose bowls out of a pipe when i got mine out so i didnt have to suck hard or anything and it worked out fine no dry sockets or anything dont drink tho
i learned that the hard way... painful

I had mine out 2 weeks ago and i was smokin the next day. Its not too bad, just dont suck too hard

yeh i just didnt know if the carcinogens would get it infected or anything like that.
