What do you think? Maybe I'm a bit paranoid but I don't think all LEO are guest users. I think we have LEO members among us. Some will say this isn't the proper area for this thread but us growers should be concerned. An example would be with a light system I was selling. I got some real strange e-mails. I'll leave it at that.

Makes sense.. what would you do if you were a LEO?
I only grow very small amounts of GVM for personal use and the only people that know I grow are on these boards. So I'm relatively free from noids.
The LEO's will chase any leads that are worth their while.
Just remember they won't dry your weed before they weigh it and will give it a street value based on the top dollar price of 1 gram. They chuck it on the scales with roots, stems, clumps of soil etc. Your 1/2 ounce manicured plant will be 1 pound when they read it out in court!

Definitely a possibility. But to be quite honest, they're looking for:
1. People that give themselves out (provided addresses, and/or city where they're living)
2. People doing a 150 plant, 10,000 watt grow.

I mean, I'm growing. But, my grow will be what? 6 plants? 10 at the super duper most?

I sometimes wonder, it'd be good to do a "study". How many people post their grows here, and they're around to re-post their 2nd, 3rd and subsequent grows.

Ok, now that we're on the subject, I think it'd be a good thing to list a few pointers to keep in mind, if you'd be able to start from scratch your security profile.

I would:
1. Use a proxy for everything
2. eMails: Hushmail
3. MONEY: open false name accounts (it is legal people) and/or use only cash?
4. Don't link your self to any of the equipment you've bought. Don't buy a $2,000 aero cloner plush five 1,000 Watt bulbs from LEOhydro.com and tell the boards about it.
5. Be very carefull about those Mylar photos... check them, re-check them, then re-re-check them. Finally, upload.
6. Shipping... ship to alternate sites, other than your grow place. Don't get a PO Box with your name on it (although, because of the high volume traffic of some POs, a PO Box might be a good idea.)
