dude if weed IS interferring with your professional life, and it shouldnt be, then just toke at night or something after a long day at the office. Do it only when you have your shit done or something, that way its totally relaxing, plus you are still on top of things.
I used to think about quitting, then I tried that out and it has worked so far.

In my job, I'm away for half of the year. They probably wouldn't care even if they knew. I haven't got the most addictive personality but I still control it by saying that I may only smoke while I'm not away and not before 5 in the afternoon, stops me from overdoing it. 6 months tho, quite a challange, if you're busy you shouldn't have much of a problem; bordom is the hardest thing to resist I rekon. As long as you're doing something you should be alright.

I am not trying to be argumentive, but i am trying to understand.
It seems as though from reading your post that is is perhaps drug-testing and cannabis being illegal that is throwing you off a "tad".
I say this because of all the people i know that use cannabis they have jobs that dont require ripping their rights apart to satisfy a paranoia one might have towards society in general. 8 out of 10 of them are U.C.Berkely Grads.
If you want to quit to satify your slave masters than say that. But please dont come in here with drug-war=rhetoric telling me(us) how much cannabis has made your life somehow less productive, and that you need to quit to "get on track". I am only sharing an opinion that i have based 35 years of research on. I hope that i havent offended you or any other(s) who feel and understand your pain. I just dont see cannabis being the problem in our society whether it be the workplace, school , or home.

I'm not trying to preach to ya. I'm just.....you know.......trying to string a few words together.
Sometimes you fly so high
you cant fly a place to land
Sometimes you fly so low
It's hard to get up and go

Thanks for the kind words.
Why is it that when i peel a carrot for another that its never as pleasant as peeling one for myself?
