    different highs

Just wondering what people's favourite strains are that produced these catergories of high:

    1 Up, alert, energetic, cerebral

    2 Giggly, euphoric, cheerful

    3 Psychedelic, trippy, visual

    4 Relaxing/chilling

    5 Creative, wandering mind

Just wondering what people's favourite strains are in any of the above catergories-of course some strains may overlap into several catergories.

Also what is a good 'all round' weed which has many of the above effects.

    Thanks,
    S.

Any higher sativa hybrid really. You have to do your research when choosing a strain. I didn't when I chose White Widow, so I am harvesting a bit early to get the type of high I enjoy. I vaporize so that help with the cleaner high also. I am very interested in maybe growing DJ Short's FLO strain, as I hear it has a super motivational, uplifting high.

That sounds like a cool strain. Also is White Widow worth growing-is it as good as the hype? Thought about getting some seeds. What is the high like?

Well I am not really sure what type of White Widow I have. It is Nirvana's strain. But there are so many White Widows out there with such varying prices that I am not sure what the lineage is in them. But I will tell you that the Nirvana WW pretty much grows itself and is a great plant to start with! I have vaporized just the manicured trim from the early harvested main cola and gotten plenty high. The high was very social, outgoing, and energetic. The reports on the WW highs I have read about are mixed, with some being mostly body, mostly head, or a mix of the two. I harvested a bit early to get more of the heady high I prefer. And it seems to have worked very well. I will not be smoking it until it has been given the proper cure for a few weeks though.

Just wanted to know-how early do you harvest your plants to enhance the more energetic, heady high? Is it a matter of weeks or days before the 'normal' harvesting time?

    Thanks,
    S.

I did it about a week early. But I have not experimented too much with the early and late harvesting of buds for this effect. DJ Short's book Cultivating Exceptional Cannabis has great information on it though.

I've got some fat long buds that look like trees when broken/taken off from the plant. I'm thinking this could be a sativa dominant plant, but not sure what type. They have rather short orangish/yellow hairs. From this <bleak> discription, would you have a guess at which cross this might be? Could it be a haze hybrid of some sort? It produces a heady, cerebrial high that is more energetic but relaxing and steady. Thanks.
