Help Me Fix My Pipe..

Ok, I got back the remains (3 pieces but the entire thing) of my first glass pipe ever and it's from like the 70's. It was broke into 3 pieces but they connect back together perfectly with no leaks. I was wondering what kind of glue should I use to recover this baby and smoke with it on occasion? Like, is there some kind of non-toxic glue that would be best or something? Because there is a little part where it glues back very close to where the flame would be.

I dunno dude I can understand the nostalgia factor in that but id just go out and buy a new one, fucking with glue on things that you put your mouth on and inhale can be messed up really easily.

maybe a glass blower can re-melt the glass back togehter? i dont know much about glass blowing. yea i wouldnt sujest glue, but i use hot glue for all my homemade things. only problem is if it gets really hot, it goes gooey again.

i duno lol, part of me is saying fuck it, the glue will get u more fucked up . the other half is saying man just put it in a box and keep it forever. like a memoir if your days as a kid gettin it on smoking herb.

try some silicone sealent, a lot of people use it for bongs and to seal aquariums, it drys clear and should work, just dont make it a habit of smoking out of it, im not sure how safe it is

i know someone who filled in a chip in their piece with hot wax and it worked perfect but i have no idea if that would work to put a pipe back together

get the super strong epoxy that u have to mix 2 parts together to make it harden. i would not use silicon sealer cause that stuff dries like jello and will melt with the slightest amount of heat

if the flame is going to be on the "adhesive" (whatever it is you decide to use) there is nothing safe... all of it would burn with flame (everything from elmers glue to 2-part epoxxy) touching it, and all i would imagine wouldn't be good... so there's not much you can do outside of getting a glass blower to fix it for you... look around on the net for glass blowers.. there are alot out there that have decent reputations and fix glass things for people, i'll find a link later if you can't (if you actually try) and i would imagine it might cost 20-30 bucks to get it fixed, but i'm sure someone would be willing to do it out there... there is no home remedy to smoke out of it safely if flame is going to get near this stuff... i understand why you want to fix it, i have a bong me and my bro used to use all the time, an acrylic one kind of like a hookah... he died, and a year later my other bro foun dit in someone's closet so he stole it back and gave it to me, but all that was left was the main body part of it... the tubes, the top, the bowl, everything was gone... i just keep it hanging around now... pretty much unusable.... i'm sorry to say it, but if you can't get a glass blower to do it for you, there is nothing that will get it back... if you do, make sure you clean it good with alcohol to make sure all resin and residue is gone, just to keep everything legal...
