Hermie Questions

hey guys im a pretty new grower have a few questions about hermies because i havnt encountered one in the few plants i have grown:
-what exactly is a hermie?
-how do they occur?
-does the plant make bud?

If any1 could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated

#1 : A hermie (hermaphrodite) is a plant of both sexes - male & female.

#2 : They most often occur from a female plant, that has been stressed to much, then starts to show male flowers a well.

#3 : Sure it makes bud, but it will be bud that has been pollenated.. AKA, it has been knocked up!
