hermie questions

hey guys im a pretty new grower have a few questions about hermies because i havnt encountered one in the few plants i have grown:
-what exactly is a hermie?
-how do they occur?
-does the plant make bud?

If any1 could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated

A hermie is a female plant that produces seeds by changing the sex of one or more of the flowers and self-pollinate.

Heat is the biggest cause for turning a female plant into a male.

if you see male balls forming you can pick them off early in their formation before they open and pollinate the other flowers.

Dutch Master produces a product called feminize that stops a hermie from producing seeds as well.

Hey Zandor, I have one huge plant developing killer buds. I believe the plant is northern lights. It is over 4 ft. and the bud are booming into my 3rd week as of friday. I just noticed the male BALLS on a coule of branches. The dutch master product you mention, can I order it and say I get a week from would that be soon enough to avert the disaster that is lurking in my garden? I have 6 females out of 11 plants and it is killing me cause this is the monster and have been drooling over these buds for the last week.

I think you could still save it but you should also know you would also have to get another product by dutch master called Penetrator that works along with the Reverse. I used Reverse by its self and I'm having pretty good results I'm still in the process of my 1st grow.. If you need more info just check out my thread its call MY SET UP 1ST TRY
