Hydro 5.2 to 6.2
soil 6.2 to 7.5
It can mean a world of difference. to far out of range and you get nutrient lockout. Soil seems to buffer the PH some what.

There is a Ph chart in the FAQ section you can DL to your desktop so you know what nutrients are available at what time in the plants cycle of life.
