I work at a grocery store, after I am done with a customers order I wish them a happy holiday. It isn't because I think the word Christmas should be banned from the english language as you exaggerate it to be...the reason is very simple:
There are so many people of so many nationalities that come through my line some I just can't be sure actually celebrate Christmas. If they don't then why the hell should they be made to feel subnormal?
If I were to have said "Merry Christmas" to someone who was jewish or just didn't celebrate Christmas I'd have felt like an ignorant fool. "Holiday" is much more generic and can even be taken just to mean time off. Now shit man there is no law against saying "Merry Christmas"...the bakery of the store I work in even has a big banner over it bearing a "Merry Christmas", juxtaposed the pharmacy brandishes a Menorah.
It really isn't even an issue until people like you Torog and your similarly bigoted adversaries make it out to be one.
