    CO2 400w HPS

I have white willow with 5x3x2 ft area. I have 400w HPS at the top and a 125w compact florescent in the middle. Will adding extra CO2 be worth it? I was thinking of the beer yeast setup. Any suggestions or pointers? Thanks allot for any help.

    hi Cycle..
How perfect is your system now? DO you have adequate air flow? Is your Light as close to the tops of your plants as POSSIBLE without burning them.. It is important to have the system dialed perfectly...

Have you maximized your use of Nutrients?

The closer you can get the light to your plant, the more lumens your babies get.. this means bigger, heavier buds.. if you have this maximized, you are ready for CO2..

    : )

    i love you

Is your grow room inside you house ? I ask because co2 can be deadly if you do not have the room sealed air tight and a good way to vent. not that yeast would make enough to hurt you. I was going to try the yeast thing but it doesn't give off that much co2. My room is a little bigger. Normal air is 300 PPM and to be effective you really need it way up there like 1500 PPM's. Most run 1800 to 2000 PPM's when they flood there room. You need to flood and then vent every 1 and 1/2 hours. Looking at the whole setup takes a computer to run. your better off just venting fresh air in and out. The yeast will smell like crap too. There is a black box co2 that burns a small flame that claims to get it up to 800 or 1000 but people who have tried said it hardly got above 600 or 700. Like Garden Knowm says if you have your system dialed in then co2 helps. your best bet is venting. I have 2 choices co2 generater or tanks. I can't put fire in a small room and I don't have the bucks for tank setup. I tried the yeast with no effect at all, just stunk up the place more than my plants. You can try and let us know your findings. Again if it's in your houses living area it's going to stink and if you use tanks inside your house it can be deadly. Just a heads up.

I have a 3 x 3 x 6 setup and am introducing a co2 injection kit with a low flow rate. I do not have the ability to bring in outside air so I need to inject co2 somehow.

I have gre4at air flow. I have a line coming from one of the vents on the roof. The one line is able to keep the light cool and provide a good breeze to the top flowering and keeps the bottom veg and clone space cool. I am using Ionic bloom and boost. Is there any other nutes I can use to speed up are provide bigger buds? The light wasnâ??t getting to the bottom so I but in the 125w Florescent and now its looking good. Just wondering if there was anything else I could do to maximize this setup.

Sounds like your doing all you can. I tried bud blood and big bud to go with my GH 3 parts, cal=mag and b-52. seems like it did better but the big thing for me was adding a 1000 HPS to the 400HPS. check my grow I'm posting pic's.
