It turns out that the only thing I was able to find resembling what I saw in the film is a Japanese kiseru - a traditional Japanese tabacco pipe. Supposedly, they work well with marijuana as well, but my only concern is the size of the bowl, which is quite small. Nausicaa Reviewed by Nausicaa on . Nice, long, wood pipe I was watching The Quiet American the other night and the main character was smoking Opium out of a long wooden pipe. It was almost like a flute in in size. I was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to buy a nice, high quality, wooden pipe to smoke out of. I want it to look classy, and long, and that's about it. I can't seem to find one, anyone have any ideas? Rating: 5
