    Seed Generation Type Question

I will try to explain my question the best way I know how..~thanks for your patience~

Is there let us say a Mother and Father Brand/Strain of cannabis that started and all other strains are just crosses..So I guess I am asking if there is only one pure strain of cannabis or are there many?

    ~thanks~ :rasta:

    Seed Generation Type Question

Well Cannabis Indica has been traced back to Afganastan. This in the beginning was the only place this grew, all other places where it grows now were put there by some man made means.

Cannabis Sativa started most people think around Durban in Africa, this is where the Durban Poison comes from. All other Sativas have there origin in this original variety. This is why we always use the terms Indica (originating north of the equator) and Sativa (originating south of the equator). This is why Indicas are darker green than Sativas because Indicas originated north of the Equator where they needed to produce more chlorofil (spelling). This chlorofil is what make plants green since Indicas get less sun they needed more of it. This was fun thank's,

    Seed Generation Type Question

Landrace strains are the origins of all cannabis strains now in modern times. There are thought to only be a dozen true landrace strains in existance. Now in modern times thanks to growers the world over we now have 4 species. Cannabis Sativa,Cannabis Indica,Cannabis Ruderalis and Landrace Cannabis. Landrace strains are the fathers and mothers of all cannabis. If your religous say that adam and eve were landrace strains and all of us desended from 2 people. LOL that sounded cheesy. Cannabis was thought to be originated from the tibetan mountains and crossed the world without mans help by being carried in bird droppings and by sticking to animals fur over great distances. In countries where cannabis is not culled you can find it growing wild on hillsides and fields.
