We talk about this type of stuff a lot in my communications classes believe it or not. We were talking about a guy named Marshell McLuhan he was a social scientist type guy he said that ā??the medium is the messageā? meaning that societies are shaped by how they communicate with each other. He studied the effects of technology as it related to popular culture, and how this in turn affected human beings and their relations with one another in communities.
